A weekend of Halloween

This Halloween we had several events to attended over a couple of days. First was Abby's costume parade on Thursday. She dressed as a cowgirl and was a little darling. Of course I know I put the camera in my bag but it wasn't there when I reached for it. Hmmm. She really enjoyed that. As did Brigham he saw a little Elmo which he loved. Then he spotted a large Banana and was scared to death. This kid really is sensitive.

Then on Saturday we had a Family fall fun night at the park with our church. Which included a trunk or treat where the kids amassed a lot of candy in a short amount of time. At first Brigham didn't like people touching his bucket, and refused the candy. But once understanding set in he was running from trunk to trunk. It was a good time and we all had fun.

Then Halloween night we had dinner with my Dad and Cindy and then trick or treated around there neighbor hood. There were a few houses the kids we weary of because of the decorations. Briggs was pretty much scared of everything and there were a few things that Abby wouldn't go near. Overall, for not really liking Halloween, we had a good time and got good use out of the costumes.

First Stop-Shanghai, China

The New York of Asia, apartments.
Shanghai Nights
Seths first stop in China was Shanghai. They visited several international companies and toured some of the cities brighter areas. Such as the skyline river boat tour, ate crazy chinease food, and had incredible views from their 17th floor hotel room.

Daddy's Home

Waiting for Seth at the airport
It was a long 15 days but somehow we survived, well mostly. In all honesty I had prepared myself for the worst and there were a few really bad days, but overall it wasn't too bad. We were able to talk with Seth everyday via Skype (thanks Curt, Natalie, Dan and Lindsay for letting us borrow computers so we could communicate) sometimes even twice a day. It was funny because the kids kept trying to touch Seth through the computer. Needless to say the kids were really ready for dad to be home, as was I.  Seth had a good visit to China and pictures of his adventures are forthcoming. But here are some from the day Seth came home and the gifts that he bought the kids. They were very excited about those.

Watching the luggage come out of the carousel.  He loved it.
