Abigails Piano Recital

Abby has been with her current teacher for a little over a year and has been progressing well. She had a recital at a retirement community that was rather enjoyable. All the residents enjoyed it and I was a proud beaming momma! She did so well. She is turning into such a beautiful young lady and I just cant help but burst with Pride.

Mischief and Mayhem

Self explanatory (these have since moved)

Its amazing how easily one forgets how much trouble  a little mobile child can get into. Once he started crawling all bets were off. He is into anything and everything he can get his little hands on. He loves the kitchen cabinets, trying to get into all closed things, dog food, you name it  he wants it. But dang, he sure is cute while doing it. I know too soon this phase of my life will be over and I am not prepared to confront that just yet. So while he makes gigantic messes I will do my best to enjoy his innocence.

Running around in the walker that he no longer uses :(

Running away from a crime scene

Discovering pudding for the 1st time.

There is no more fun than a bucket on your head.

Of course, like Briggs, he has breathing problems. WE spend a lot of time with our friend the nebulizer

His favorite hang out.

In a rare moment he sleeps to rebuild his energy for more mayhem.

Then there are moments like these that make my heart melt.

We cant ignore the older siblings for sure. Mustache ask you a question?

He discovered that he can use these stools as a make shift walker

He then learned this new trick of standing by him self. He was very proud of this feat.

My constant companion always on my heels...

Or on my back...

Or in my face... But I don't mind cause look at that mug!

At the park with the ladies.

Just some little giggle time.

The Houston Astros 2016

Hyrum testing the baseball to make sure its OK for playing.

Yet another baseball season was upon us. This season we decided to go with a little bit more organized and competitive league. We are 100% happy  that we switched leagues. Brigham progressed so much this year with a great coach and lots of help from mom and dad at home. It was so fun to go to his games. For the first time it seemed like we were actually watching a real game. I was a very proud momma for sure. I hope he wants to continue playing as he ages because I love watching and cheering him on.

Looking pretty slick at the beginning of the season.

Practicing out back.

Emily practicing for how she will be a teenager watching games...

Brigham was very consistent this season with batting. He hit the ball almost every time he was at bat. He worked hard at trying to run the bases and putting more power into his swing.

During several games he played catcher and it was so cute I mean manly.

The team

Hyrum was one of his biggest fans.

Every game the coach would give a game ball to a player. He got the ball late in the season but it did come. He was beyond excited, he had been waiting all season to get that ball. This particular game he did really well and even caught a pop fly getting a kid out.

Utah Part 2

This is my Uncle Teddy, as a kid we would always do this with him. WE decided to resurrect this old tradition and I'm so glad we did. It was so funny. As usual, we had a great visit with Uncle Ted and Aunt Kaylea.

While in Utah we definitely have to spend some time hiking. It was a bit tiring having Hyrum on my back but it was a good time nonetheless. This battle creek hike is perfect for the kids and this out of shape momma.

My crew and I

Its so gorgeous in UTAH!!!

Uncle Randy is always a hit with is cookie making skills and 4 wheeler rides. He took all the kids for a little ride and as usual they loved it.

Unfortunately the dry Utah weather has its downsides. Poor Hyrums lips were bloody most of the time. Mine were pretty terrible as well.

The fire station is always a fun stop too. Uncle Randy is so kind to always host a tour. We rode in the fire truck, sprayed the hose and got to see all that he does for work.

Ice cream for less than 50cents a cone and 7 kids, sign us up! What a treat.

Dollar store day was a hot as well.

My Aunt Karen and Grandma came to visit while we were there as well. Aunt Karen had never met Hyrum and Grandma cant get enough of course.

More, more and more cousins!!!

Cortland loved climbing into the play pen and paying with Hyrum

We visited Scheels for the first time which is pretty rad. They have a giant Ferris wheel inside and we had a grand time walking around and riding the beast.

A final goodbye...Until Next time Bells!
