Abby recently went back to the pediatirc eye doctor for a check up. She has been weraring the glasses 4 months now. Apparantly the glasses can only do so much. They are still effective, however her left eye is still weak and slow. Thus in order to strengthen it, we have to patch her good eye for 2 hours a day for the next 4 months. Abby HATES it! She is always asking when she can take it off. The only other alternative is a medicine that gets put in her eye to basically blind her for a whole day twice a week. I opted for the patch. But she does look mighty cute.

Pitcher or QB
Brigham loves to play catch. Its amazing how he winds up, and has such form at 2. I just gotta figure out what sport (when he is old enough) that he will play...
He is still working on catching, but he can it with a bat as well.
Don't mind us all in our PJ's. Its the first thing he wants to do in the morning.

Solids
Our little gal is growing up! Since her 4 month birthday we started her on rice cereal. She didn't know what to think at first, with a gag here and there. But she did much better than I anticipated. She hardly spit it out or made a mess. I try to feed her once a day for practice. We will probably move to applesauce in a few days. She is so cute!!!!

Rainbows
Last week there was this incredible rainbow. It was actually a double rainbow but one was much clearer than the other. It was the most spectacular thing. Seth and I couldn't believe how clear it was. I have never seen one as beautiful as this one. It looked like it hit the ground in both directions. It was so clear. The pictures dont do it justice.
Then it was gone. Just a great reminder to me that we have a loving Heavenly Father.

Brigham
Since the last few posts have been about the girls I figured Brigham needed a little of the spotlight. This kid is so handsome and funny and we love him so much.
He is getting so Big. Most people think he is older than he is because he talks so much. That is to say he never stops talking. He is quite the little Ham and is always making us laugh. He loves to run around nudy after he bathes. He adores Emily. He is so funny, when he talks to Emily its in a high pitch, and it is so cute. He likes to help when it comes to her or anything really.
Brigham has become really attached to his plug(pacifier) and his blanket. Its cute but maddening. He likes to play barbies with Abby or anything she likes to do. He is constantly copying her. He is very loud, all the time. He only has one volume. He sings and plays loudly. But how can you not love it despite the headache at the end of every day.
He listens really well, and hates to be put in time out. Brigham is super sweet and is constantly telling us that he loves us.
Can you tell I love him?

| What a love |
Brigham loves to sing. Here is one of his songs. He gets shy on camera so it isn't great but just imagine all of the words out of his mouth because he does know it all.

Emily- 4 Months Old
On the same day that Abigail turned 5, Emily turned 4 moths old. Again....Time please stop. This little dolly is getting big fast. It feels like each new day she is a different baby.
At her well child visit she was a tropper. She had to get a few shots and she only cried for like 10 seconds.
STATS:
Head: 41 Cm 48%
Weight: 15 pounds 77%
Height: 26 Inches 95%
We have some tall girls!
She has lots of little fat rolls that I love to pinch. They are so cute. As I look back at Abby's baby pictures I realize how much they look alike. She has started to grab things and become more interactive. She slobbers like an Olympian and loves to play. She has abs of steel because she is always trying to sit up!
Emily loves chewing on her hands and being held. She loves loves loves being held. She likes to cry when you put her down. She doesn't sleep well yet at night. Normally 2 hours at a time. So we have enacted the "cry it out" phase and last night she slept for 6 hours, and she only cried for 25 minutes. Which was fantastic since I checked on her about every 5 minutes. Abby went for hours and hours. I cant even remember the last time I had 6 hours of sleep.
What I can say is that we all absolutly adore her. I think she has us all wrapped around her little chunky fingers. There is something about her that just makes me want to eat her up. She has been a wonderful addition to our family and we love her so.
| First time in the Bumbo. Thanks Hannah for letting us borrow it. |

Abigail is FIVE!
Dear Father Time, I would appreciate it if you would stop passing so quickly. My kids are growing too fast and I am afraid I wont get enough time with them.
Thanks- Lacey
My Little baby Abby celebrated her Fifth Birthday on May 6th. I really cannot believe this day has come and gone already. Wasn't it just yesterday we were in the hospital hoping and praying that she would survive? It seems that way to me at least.
Yet here we are. Five! Yikes!!!! So many milestones so little time. She graduates Preschool this month and is already registered for kindergarten. My baby is going to school full time come August. She has grown so much this past year both physically and mentally, I really am a proud mama.
She is currently 42lbs and in the 66%. She has been at that weight for awhile. She is 44 1/2 inches and in the 86%, she is tall. I have no doubt in a few short years she will be taller than me.
Abigail is so full of life, almost too much. She is a machine. She loves to run and play. She played soccer this past year and keeps asking when she gets to play again. She knows and can write all of her letters and their sounds. She can write her whole first and last name. She also know my phone number, we are working on knowing her address and we are getting there. In my recent parent teacher conference at preschool her teacher was amazed at how much progress she has made this year. Its true, at the beginning of the year she only knew a few letters.... She can count to 29 and then starts counting by tens to 100. That was pretty recent because the whole year she would only count to 13 then one day it was 29.
She loves science day at school and asks me every school day if its time for science day. She knows what money (at least the change) is worth as well as her days of the week and her months of the year. Along with a number of songs. She loves to swim, dance, sing, play family, play with her Leapster and play with friends. Most especially she loves her Family. She loves Briggy and Emily and to make cookies with dad. Abby loves spending time with all the family we have around here, especially Nana, Papa and Grandpa and Grandma.
Abigail is loving and kind. She is a great big sister and she is so excitable. I'm not saying she is perfect, but she is such a little beauty in our lives. We love you Abigail!
For her party we had the Family as well as a few friends come. We played in the backyard, ate yummy food and of course had Cake and ice cream. I do have tigger pictures which will come in another post.
Abigail was so excited to open her presents. She got a lot of great things. What impressed me most was how willing she was to let all the kids help her open her presents. She had a good sharing day.
Thanks- Lacey
