Primary Program

We recently had our Primary Program at church. The kids had memorized their parts a month before and we so excited to do it.  The went up on stage like it was no big deal, sang their songs, spoke their parts and it was over. I loved it because I could pick out Brigham's voice out of all the kids up there singing. Proud momma moment. As you know we have had our fair share of melt downs when it comes to public performance so I was a bit worried, but they did it and it was lovely. Here are a few pics of the kids dressed for the big day.

Down Time

After Brigham's last game we went to Cabelas to spend some time and look around. The kids love going there. As you can see Emily wasn't to keen on taking her picture with the moose but those are some classic pics. Same with Briggs, he sat for about 2 Seconds and was ready to be off that thing. Fun family time.

End of Season

The baseball season has come and gone. We are so proud of little Brigham and how far he came this season. He really is such a good little player and the whole team did so well! I was really impressed with all these little Cubs. It was sad, but also good. Mamma needs a break. But I think we may do it again next season. Love this kid!

A train wreck...

Abigail had Friday off of school last week. Seth had a few Vacation days to burn so I convinced him to take the day off. I don't think he has ever done this before. It was so nice. We made plans to go on the mini train ride in ft. worth. The kids were so excited! It was going to be such a fun family thing. We looked it up and it said it was open on Friday in November so we were set. However upon our arrival,  the gates were closed with a sign reading Saturday and Sundays only.

Holy melt down. The kids were so upset! As was I. I hate when these kind of things happen. So our fun train day was turning into a train wreck.

We decided to drive over to the Will Rogers coliseum to see if they had anything going on. Much to our great joy, they had a Paint Horse Competition going on. Phew! The kids love horses so we headed in and walked around and won the day after all.

The practice Barn, one of the riders was nice enough to let the kids pet her horse.

I lied

So I thought the last post was the last of the Halloween. But today I got these which I totally forgot about from the Boo Bash. So cute for so 5 bucks. My little Merida, Batman and Bumble Bee. Emily didn't get her own shot because she was screaming bloody murder.

The last of Halloween

Brigham had a little parade at his school on Halloween. The parents decorate tables and the kids come and trick or treat around to everyone. Last year I did nothing. I brought candy and a cute little lady bug. This year I decided I wouldn't decorate but I did make the candy a bit more fun to pass out. Thus the Ghosts in the box.
Brigham was so cute, as was Emily and everyone else in their costumes. Its so fun to see all the little kids so excited. Emily loved passing out candy and watching everyone go by.
Batman Always wears a backpack right?

My little Helper
That same night our Church had a Trunk or Treat. Its a safe and easy way to satisfy the kids wants and needs. However it was a bit over run this year with random people who decided to take candy but not pass any out...and some of the older ones were a bit pushy to the little ones. We may try something different next year... But it was fun nonetheless.
Nems stayed and helped Seth pass out Candy

My little wonderful family.

Love these goofballs!

Trick or Treat

Success!

Brigham literally said "my bag is heavy I have too much candy" it was pretty funny. This little guy was tuckered out by the end of the night.
