Brigham's First and Last

Beginning Kindergarten 2015

Graduating Kindergarten 2016 - Briggs with the principle receiving his Chinese linguistic award.

Goodbye Kindergarten. This was super cute! Briggs is right in the middle.

Brigham had a great first year of School! He did so well and really excelled at learning the languages and getting lots of praise during Athos  (PE)  He never got into trouble and always had good behavior marks. He did so well adjusting to a new routine and changing teachers through out the day. He made lots of good friends and was the only one in his class to receive the Chinese award. He also received an award for showing initiative.

Briggs and his home room teacher Mrs Ferris. He really loved her.

This. Is. Greatness.

Emily's First and Last

First Day of Pre-K 2015

Last Day of Pre-K 2016

Pre-k for Emily was a great experience. She loved that school was at her Great Aunt Leisha's house. She made several good littler friends there, enjoyed learning to count and practicing her letters. She loved going for walks and eating her lunch as well as everyone's left overs. Often times she would cry because she wanted to go back to school. She had a great first year.

2016 Memorial Day

This year we hosted Memorial Day at our house. We are so grateful for those who have served our country and allow us to live freely because of their sacrifices! We are proud to be Americans and hold dear the values and courage that our flag stands for. We also love getting together to give thanks and celebrate!

We rented this Monster Slide thanks to Grandma Cheri. Seth really wanted one that the adults go do as well. In this case it was so big the adults were necessary.

Everyone had a great time getting wet on a hot day and enjoyed the slide.

Emily showing off some American Pride.

Briggs loved this slide because it had a bump that sent you flying.

This little Handsome was a trooper as always and found great pleasure in flying that flag!

Another perspective of the slide size.

These two cute cousins get along so well.

Some of the grown ups playing a game. It might be called hand ball but I actually have no clue.

Project New Fence

Briggs helping out.

Since we moved into our new house one of the top projects to get done has been to relocate and build a new fence. Finally with the old fence about to give out we decided it was about time. Plus we wanted to get it done before it got too hot and the ground got to hard.

Seth and I measured it out and he dug the holes the previous night.

Doesn't he look like he is having fun?

Then he and I set all the poles with some fast acting concrete wile the kids ran all around. Briggs actually was a great little helper and was working pretty hard too.

After it was all done the lumber was all hauled and unladed. About this time Luke showed up to pick something up and he kindly volunteered to stay and help. He didn't realize we were gonna take advantage.

You can see the old fence line in this picture. The new fence is in the distance and made our already large back yard seem huge. If we can ever afford to put a pool in, that's where it will go.

Progress is being made.

Once they got their rhythm it started going up pretty fast!

We got a quote to get this done and it was in the thousands. We did it ourselves in about a day and did it for significantly cheaper and I think it looks pretty great!

Mothers Day

I have gotten really behind on blogging these days, so much going on so little time. I'm going to attempt to catch up in the next several posts!

Mothers day was a wonderful day. Seth and the kids made me a fantastic breakfast in bed. Fresh juice, an omelet topped with avocado and chocolate.  Not much better than that. There was also fresh beautiful flowers and hand drawn cards from the kids.

We then headed to church where the kids sang a song with the primary in Sacrament. As always it was adorable.

Briggs and Emily, what little cuties.

These 4 crazy kids made me a mother and I am so thankful for each one of them!

Briggs made this at church, it reads:
My moms name is: Lasy (Lacey)
My mom knows how to: Tacar of me (take care of me)
My mom can: Cakc (cook)
My mom doesn't like to: Spidrs (Spiders, yep)
My mom cooks the best: Biscits and gravey (biscuits and Gravy)
My mom looks very pretty when: go to chrch (go to church)

Love It.
