The last few weeks the sun has finally arrived and the heat index is rising. School is out and its time to spend our days doing lots of things that we cannot do during the school year.
I had been working on some landscaping projects that I finally finished. I loved how it all turned out! Unfortunately we don't get to enjoy it long as we decided to sell the house shortly thereafter... wish I would have waited...
Then came Memorial Day, we spent the day with family at Whitworth gathering. The kids were able to enjoy a giant water slide that grandma had rented at least for a few hours until the weather turned against us and it rained buckets! Although that is the day we learned our offer on our new house was accepted and that was pretty exciting!
When the rains came down and the floods came up everyone came inside to watch Epic. They were all fully engrossed..
Since Brigham has been out of school for a few weeks its been a challenge to keep him entertained. We spent one afternoon playing shoots and ladders.
OF course every now and then in summer you do things you wouldn't do...So I took Briggs and Nems out to lunch at one of Brigham's favorite spots.
Whats summer without a little fort building?
The biggest event of the summer for Briggs is the return of American Ninja Warrior on TV. He loves that show! Actually they all do. Its climbing and obstacles for the next few months...
WE had our first taste of the swimming pool recently and it was awesome. Thanks to some friends for inviting us. Briggs almost passed out with excitement! He loved every second of it, except for when he was cold. Which was often. Emily had a blast too. They never wanted to leave.
We have had some dress up days and lazy days but this was a conquering kind of day.
Then there is this dog. We spend a lot of time just playing with her!
