It pretty much snowed everyday we were in Utah except the day we came and the day we left. Lucky for us! It was a wonderfully white Christmas. The Kids spent many days out in the snow, sledding, throwing snowballs, riding the four wheeler and building snow men. I compiled all the snow pictures into one post to make it easier. It was a lot of Fun!

Four Wheeler Time! This was so fun! The kids loved it and so did I. Seth took each kid around the block, then taught me how, and then I took all the kids around the block. They were all little ice cubes but they kept wanting to go. It was something new and totally fun. We definitely need one :)

While we were in Utah I was able to visit a few dear friends of mine. Even though we rarely see each other it is always great to spend time together We went and had dinner with our old friends and Neighbors the Jenkins. Liz is a kindred spirit and we always have a good time. Megan and her kiddos came and sledded one day as well. I have known her since I was in 8th grade. Isn't she gorgeous? We have been best friends ever since, another kindred spirit. I love both those gals.
These few pictures are from Sunday afternoon, just hanging out wishing the Cowboys were playing.

Then Christmas Eve finally came....We had a little talent show which Jay was the star of. He sang Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer, and it was a hit. He had props and all. The kids all then danced (previous post) and then we had the kids dress up as the Nativity. We have never done that before and it was so cute! Abby did NOT want to put a towel on herself. You would have thought we were asking her to spray acid in her face. It took some coaxing, well a lot of it actually, but she finally made it into a picture.

Abby and Briggs were Mary and Joseph, Jamison was the Donkey and Jenny the angel. Cort was baby Jesus and Emily was there for the picture :)
After that Papa and Nana handed out some presents. Its a tradition to get these particular presents from them. The kids were so excited because they didnt know what they were. Of course you need new Jammies to sleep in for Christmas! The kids loved them and wanted to put them on immediately!
This year we decided to drive to Utah to spend Christmas with My sister Codee and her family, as well as my sister Cassidee and also My Dad and Cindy, who drove up from Texas too. It was great to all be back together again.
We drove over night and ended up making it it about 17 and 1/2 hours. It really wasn't bad at all and the kids were great troopers. That is other than Brigham asking "When we gonna be dere?" not five minutes after we left. And of course a restroom break 20 minutes after departure.
But we made it. The first day we just hung out and played in the snow. This was the day that had the least snow. As you will see in coming photos, the snow just kept coming! It was a great white Christmas for us!
Playing out in the snow
Seth was so fantastic as always, playing with the kids and taking them out in the cold. This day the kids were out playing and the neighbor dog decided to come play too. It was awesome. I wish I had a dog like that. He wanted to play so bad. You would throw the snow and he tried to get it every time The kids thought it was pretty cool too. Although, they did get a little annoyed when he/she would leave them alone. Even when they were resting for a break.
The dog in mid air - nice
Burr mom My hands are cold.
Then as we came in for the night we had fun eating and talking and spending time together. Brigham especially became very fond of Jamison and was always concerned with his whereabouts. Jenny loved to play with Nems and Court was a little snuggle bug as well. The kids hit it off pretty well....well mostly.
I wish I could remember what Jamison thought was so funny.
Then it was time for a little pre bedtime dance party. Watch Jay, Jenny and Cort they really have some moves!
Ready for bed
What did you say Papa?
Yeah a boy to play with!
Scripture time.
On Sunday the lot of us managed to make it to church at 830 am, that's a Christmas Miracle. They put on a really nice program with great musical numbers. The Relief society meeting was rather inspiring as well. The rest of the day we were supposed to be watching the Cowboys game, but I guess they don't get it there....so we just hung out, played games and again stuffed our faces.
