Briggs at his second birthday....
Ready for school and opening Grandma Jody and Grandpa Ron's card

This Kid! 6 years and we have one handsome little dude on our hands.  I say it every time but I just cannot believe how time passes! It seems so slow in the everyday of life but when you look back its gone and it makes me so sad! He is such a great kid and he means so much to our family.

He is so smart and has transitioned well to being in Kindergarten. He loves to talk and talk and talk some more. It particularly evident in the car. Pretty much every car ride is a deluge of conversation whether it makes sense or not. He is a chatter box! He is curious and kind, he loves to sing and dance sometimes too. He is probably the best of the kids at sharing at this point and he is most willing to help if needed.

He is so smart and lovable. He is still willing to snuggle and loves to cuddle up when he is in the mood.  He loves his sisters and will be a great protector as he gets older. He currently loves legos, anything paw patrol, american ninja warrior, to be healthy, to do push ups and exercise and so much more.

His birthday was a school day and so we let him open a few things before he went. One time a year you are able to eat lunch with your kids and that of course is their birthday. In a small miracle Seth was able to come and Brigham was ecstatic.  He wanted Sonic, a grilled cheese and root beer :)

He pretty much ate and snuggled Seth the whole time. He talked about his friends and pointed out things. I asked if he wanted us to walk him to class and he was like "no way." Its funny because when we visit Abby at school she practically wants to show us off, hold our hands and take us everywhere. Brigham apparently has a reputation to uphold and once we got near his friends it was hands off.

Near the end of lunch Abby appeared for her lunch time and was desperate to be with us. But as we were on our way out the best we could do was a hug and a kiss and of course a picture.

Brigham's Birthday dinner request was Costa Vida. He loves that place and we were happy to oblige.
He loves food!
Whats a birthday without birthday spankings? Everyone in the family took their turns and he thought it was hilarious.

We opened a few presents which he had been itching to do all day. He was so excited he was about to burst. He got a remote control car and a stuffed animal from Paw Patrol.  He also received gift cards and money from other family members.

He thought this car was so awesome!!!! Can you tell?

We didnt do much by way of having a party as you can see from above. However we did plan a special surprise for him. We picked up two of his best buddies and took him to an American Ninja Warrior GYM for kids. He was beside himself. He absolutely loved it

Headed to the Gym

Cargo net climb

This place was pretty cool. It was a bit crowded because it was a Saturday but they ran from the moment we got there to the moment we left.

Attempting the kid sized warped wall

They had a smaller kid zone which was nice for Emily

They spent a lot of time on this obstacle. You run and jump and try to grab the ladder. He was successful one time and we were so proud!

There was dodge ball and ring swings as well...

On the way home he opened presents from his friends and we stopped at his other favorite place to eat Johnny B's. It was fun to watch him interact with his buddies and there was a lot of talk of farts, poop and Ninjas :)

He got these awesome Jammies from the Bells.

The following Saturday he wanted to spend his gift cards and money and we spent a lot of time in the toy store. HE finally settled on a bunch of Paw patrol figures which have been the center of attention ever since.
