Utah- day 4

Last year we had some awesome neighbors and friends, then they left us for Utah :( Abby still asks at least once a week if she can play with Molly. Liz is like a sister to me, we hit it off from the start. Oh how I miss her too. Of course Briggs and her son Calvin are about the same age as well but, they don't really care cause they are boys and too young. The past few times I have been in Utah we haven't been able to see each other due to sick kids, bad weather or bad circumstances. So finally we met up here in this beautiful park (I cannot remember where.) It was very picturesque. There were mountains, the weather was great, lots of trees, and of course horses running through the river. I couldn't have asked for a better visit. Despite that we had to end it because it started to rain...it was so good to see old friends. Between seeing family and two of my best friends it was a great trip!

Later that night we had family over to Codee's and had some yummy dinner. We talked, played games and the kids watched a movie.

Utah-Day 3

By our third day in Utah my mom, Grandma and Aunt Karen had driven up from California. Thus, fun with grandma's began. Their first day there we gathered up the kids and headed to the pool. Especially since it was supposed to be the hottest day we were there, we wanted to make sure we were out enjoying it. The kids had a blast swimming and playing. Abigail and Jay were like little fishes. Briggs was dunking himself under the water at every opportunity and little Jensen loved it but didn't want to leave mine or Cassidee's side.

Utah-Day 2

Day two was an eventful day as well. I was able to meet up with one of my best friends. Megan and I have known each other since I was in 8Th grade. We have been besties ever since. She and I happen to book tickets to Utah at the same time (she lives in Hawaii) without knowing the other was going. Miracle. We we able to catch up, meet each others kids and re-hash some of the good old days. I haven't seen her since her oldest son was Brigham's age and now he is seven....too long!

Megan's Kids (Aiken, Eva and Ronin), Codee's kids (Jamison and Jensen), and of course Abby and Briggs.

Don't you just want to squeeze his cheeks. He is actually really little. The pictures make him look bigger than he really is.

Utah- Day 1

Cassidee, Abigail, Brigham and I arrived in Utah on July 4Th. Randy Picked us up from the airport and we went straight to the 4Th festivities at my cousin Tiffany's house. We ate most of the day away, watched the man boys play with explosives, had a water balloon toss and the kids played until they were exhausted. It was so fun to see so many people that we are related to on the first day of our arrival!

Go Cowboys

The other day I put Briggs in his Romo Jersey and Abby decided she wanted to wear hers too. They were so excited to match they wanted their picture taken. However every time I tried to take the pretzel away from Briggs he started to cry. Typical.

Dear Culdee

Dear Culdee,
I would appreciate it if I could stop finding you in my toaster. I realize its a warm place to snuggle up at night but please try to find a new place to rest.

Praise to the Man

Abby has been learning Praise to the Man in Primary and she loves to sing the song. In the first video she is still learning it. In the second she nails it. Too cute!
