A very Princess Party

Abigail went to Sophia's 3rd birthday Princess party last week. It was so Cute. Maegan did a great job with all the decorations and keeping the kids (and us) entertained. Abby went dressed as a fairy princess and she was so excited. All the girls looked so adorable. Sophie was especially all dolled up for her big day.The most exciting part for Abby was that a real live Cinderella came to the party. Even though she was a little nervous at first and Brigham was afraid as well, they both eventually warmed up and had a great time. Abby kept saying if Cinderella came to the party then the castle must be close, so where is it?

"Oh baby baby oh baby baby"

To my friends who follow the blog but do not have facebook, I admit my neglect in announcing that we have another baby on the way. Currently, as of tomorrow, I will be 19 weeks. The first few months were a little hard because I was very nauseous. But over all the pregnancy has gone pretty well. As of now, I feel pretty good just tired. Taking care of two crazy kids and growing a baby is tiring, but that's life.

We feel very blessed to have another little one on the way. I am due January 13Th or 14Th (I have been told both dates) and it seems that it is approaching swiftly. I had another ultra sound yesterday and the baby looks nice and healthy.He said my placenta is low but we will recheck it in a few months and he wasn't that concerned about it.

Even though I am not new to this anymore its always so amazing to see the little tyke on screen. I didn't get any pictures from the appointment but he burned me a DVD of the whole thing which was nice. Thus, the picture below is from my 10 week appointment.

Oh yes I suppose I should mention that the little bugger is a GIRL!

Its Soccer time!

I signed Abby up for soccer this year with the intent of getting her out and active. But, also to learn how to work as a team and play with others while learning sportsmanship. We shall see how that pans out. I would have liked another sport but, this is the only one that's really going right now...anyway she was so excited. We went as a family to buy her cleats and shin guards and the next day she wore them around the house. As you can see in the picture below.

It was so funny to watch her, because she would say things like "hey look I can snap" or "that's my brother over there" when the coach was trying to teach them something. Also they all brought their own balls so if someone else happened to kick her ball she would run after it yelling "hey, that's my ball!" It was classic. Of course there was the time when she just sat down right where she was exclaiming she needed a rest. It was funny too because when she did another little girl came and sat next to her thinking it was a good idea as well. These kids sure are good for entertainment!

Hot, Hot, Hot

I think we are somewhere in 45 straight days of over 100 degrees. Its HOT! We drove by a sign the other day that said 116, I think that's ridiculous. So we spend a lot of the time at the pool and the splash park which are also hot but somewhat refreshing. We did get a cooling the other day to 106, what a relief right?

Brigham and Babies

Seth put the kids to bed the other night while I went to the store. Since the kids share a room usually we put Briggs down first and a little later we put Abby down. So he put Brigham to sleep and he said when he went to lay Abigail down this is what he found. Silly little boy. He loves baby dolls.

I thought book shelves were meant for books however in my house they get much more use than that!
