Jim Nas Ticks

Saying bye to mom
Last week Abby had gymnastics camp for three days. There was a great deal through groupon so I figured, why not? She LOVED it! Everyday she ran and ran all over and I doubt that she ever stopped. She came home the first day and fell asleep. They had a foam pits, trampolines, rope swings, bars and more. She also loved the big green mountain. Not to mention she had a few friends there too. All the pictures are from really far away so they aren't that great.

Graduated

Ready to hit the slide
Abigail finished swim lessons in style. The last day they finished by letting them go down the slide. This is the biggest slide she has been on and she didn't want to go at first. Once she did it though, she was hooked. I was so proud. She was such a little fish, the teacher bumped her up a level higher than the other kids. Proud mama moment. I am glad that she is so comfortanble in the water.

6 Months

The Jump A Roo
I cant believe it! Really I can't, our little Nems is 6 MONTHS!!!!
This little girl is such a doll, and such a joy to our lives. I readily admit she has me wrapped me around her chubby little fingers. I am sad that she is no longer a little baby but I love watching her grow and learn new things, it makes me excited for the things that are to come. Abigail too, she keeps asking when Emily will be able to play with her.
Look at those little legs!
At her 6 months check up her stats were:

Height: 27 Inches- 85%
Head Circumference: 42 1/2 cm -46%
Weight: 15 1/2- 39%

She only gained a half pound from her 4 month visit, and actually lost weight from her last sick child visit and this concerned the doctor a little. I have been feeding her a jar of food everyday or every other day and and now I am supposed to feed her 3 jars a day on top of nursing. Then we are headed back for a weight check in a month. She had to have some shots and cried only a few seconds. Little CHAMP.
I like to pinch these legs
She is doing new things every day. This little llama can roll from front to back and vice verse and rolls all over town. She loves to grab things and shove them in her mouth. She loves to be held and talked to especially by mom. I dont think she likes my singing because everytime I sing she laughs.
Oh Mom
Emily loves to watch Abby and Briggs play and Abigail has become quite good at making her laugh. Which of course makes us all laugh. I love it when Nems smiles because her whole face lights up. You can see it in her eyes and it makes me melt. Sometimes so big she drops her plug out of her mouth.
Notice the burp cloth to catch the drool
She often attempts to put her plug in her mouth and is sometimes successful. She doesnt yet sleep through the night. Its hard, it seems like everytime we are close she gets sick and throws the whole thing out of whack. She has had a few ear infections, and one really bad one where her ear drum was bulging. Of course she always has fluid in her ears.
Ready for church
She has had a few other little things where the doctors attention was required. I noticed one of her pupils was larger than the other, the doc referred us to the optomotrist where she had to have her eyes dialeted. It looks like she is fine, her pupils are just different sizes however he could tell she will probably need glasses so we will have to go back in a year and get that checked. She also had a prolapse by her lady parts which thankfully took care of itself so, overall she's in good shape.
I am cute and I know it!
I really wish her teeth would come in because she is constantly soaking her clothes with drool. Not to mention she is fussy all the time about it. I feel bad for the little doll. However she does loved to chew on her feet to alleviate the pain.
OK mom enough
Time does fly by and Father Time has yet to answer my plea to stop it from doing so. For now I will just have to be content to watch my kids grow faster than weeds, but boy to I love them!

The Aquarium

We kids haven't been able to spend much time with Grandma Cheri lately. So we decided to spend some time with her at the aquarium a while ago. We also went with the kids Great Grandma Francis and my sister in law Lindsay and my Niece Hannah. Its a fun little aquarium however on this day it was rather busy so, the fun level wasnt as high. But the kids lovesd spending time with grandma and thats all that matters. They had a few new exhitbits which was nice. Emily was a champ and a doll as always. Of course my camera died about half way through, so my pictures are limited.

Then after we were through there we had lunch at the Rain forest cafe. It was an interesting experience because Brigham was terrified! He sat in my lap shaking like a leaf, and then with grandma doing the same. Silly little boy!

Every now and then Brigham says "mom lets talk about sting rays" so cute.

I cannot remember what these things were called but I thought they were neat

While we were there this octopus decided to show himself. It was pretty cool

The Fourth

The fourth of July this year was a pretty laid back day. We spent the day lounging around and spending time together. Then in the afternoon my Dad and Cindy came over. I made us all some Cranberry salsa to start then I made fried chicken, corn casserole, salad and baked beans for dinner. Cindy also made some deviled eggs and a white chocolate key lime pie that was Delicious. We were all stuffed.

The kids shot off some poppers and threw those little exploding poppers (which they loved) and spent time in the pool showing off their water skills. Brigham was not a fan of the poppers but he enjoyed throwing the little exploding ones at the poor innocent grass hopper he found. It was good times.

Swim Lessons

Abigail started swim lessons on July 2. She actually did not want to do it. She kept insisting she "already knew how to swim and therefore didn't need to go" But, I made her take them anyway, since I am that cool. The first few days she was hesitant as she is with anything new she tries. But she persevered. She is actually the best swimmer in her class and I believe she is the youngest. She still has work to do, but like last year, I am not afraid if I turned my back she would drown. Love her.

This little gal finds her siblings pretty entertaining. Abby doesnt have to do much to get her laughing and boy is she cute! How can you not love such a thing?

Swimming with Friends

Every time Abigail has a friend over, the only thing she wants to do is swim in this pool. She LOVES it, and loves to share her excitement with her friends. The last two years Abigail has been in the same preschool class with Ashley. We recently discovered we live near her and have had her over a few times since.  Of course this time was to play in the pool, so here are more pool shots!

A New Tool

We were in desperate need of a weed eater. We finally decided to break down and buy one. I really like it. Its light weight and I love that its battery operated.

However this is what we found in the box!
