Sometimes we just like to be big ol' goof balls! Here is evidence of one such day. Abby and Brigham thought this was a hilarious thing to do. They kept saying lets do more mom! By the time I was done my face was sore :) As you can tell we were just laying around having fun. At least the kids look cute.
Whats fathers day without pictures? Here are a few of Seth and the kiddos. Boy were they excited for fathers day. They couldnt wait for Seth to open his gifts! Abby even said, "dont be grumpy dad, its your special day!" Seth is such a good dad to these little rascals and we sure do love him.
Emily loves to run to Seth when he gets home from work and yell "Da Da"
It pains me to have posts out of chronological order, but alas what can I do. Here are some pictures from Brighams last day of Preschool. They gave a free snow cone to all the kids for having a great year and Brigham was so excited! It was a fun experience for him to share with his classmates and teachers.
Awhile ago we went to the out to eat and to the park to celebrate abigails birthday with my Dad and Cindy. All I had with me is my phone and so these pitcures remained on it for some time. Finally I retreived them and here they are.
The kids loved it. The ducks loved it; until we tried to feed them some of emily's snacks, and then they hated it. They wouldnt even touch them. Interesting. It was a beautiful fun day. The ducks were coming right up to the kids. Emily really enjoyed it until they came a little too close for comfort and then it was game over.
Yet another graduation has come and gone. Abby is now officially a 1st grader!!!! She was so excited to be graduating kindergarten. We have been preparing for awhile now. Shes been learning songs at school and has been humming them all the time. She refused to sing them to me though because it was supposed to be a surprise. She just kept saying "mom, there is one song that is so pretty and beautiful that you are going to love" Which of course I did :)
Unfortunately, Briggs and Nems had been sick all week and when it came time to graduate, they were not going to make it. So Seth stayed home with them and I went solo. Which as it turned out was probably for the best because the place was packed and there were hardly any seats.
It was a fun little program and I was such a proud momma. Especially since on her final report card she received Mastery in every single thing! She also received several awards including attendance, citizenship and 2 in handwriting. Abby did awesome, she totally participated and didn't even make a scene. Success!
Our Little graduate
Here she is pre-graduation. Posing outside the school and in the hall.
The entrance to the stage. All the videos are a little shaky because I was so far away and the closer I zoomed the harder it was to hold still.
Holy cow class of 2025!
There she is in the top row with all the boys!
A song about their school Freedom entitles Freedom Rules
Here is the song Abigail was talking about, the one I would love :)
Exiting the stage
Love that little face
Below is the video of Abby getting her award. I was a little upset because I knew it was her classes turn. I was getting my camera ready knowing Abby would be close to the last one. However, for some unknown reason she was first! So I completely missed it. What Mrs Leal said was "Abigail's favorite part of school was splash day (which was the following day, and she had to miss because she got sick) and that Abby said she wanted to be a cowgirl when she grew up"
After the our morning Hike we headed to Grandmas house for some BBQ and fun. Of Course grandma bought a new water slide that had to be used. This thing is pretty awesome! The kids went to town going from the slide to the little pool. What a great way to expend energy! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for a fun day and delicious food.
Abigail testing it out.
Brigham playing with some boys from Cheri's ward. They had lots of fun.
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
