This Thanksgiving we did something a little less traditional. We headed down to San Antonio to visit SeaWorld and do some site seeing. Our friends have done it for a few years and we thought it was an interesting idea. We already had season passes so why not? We left thanksgiving morning to head that way. SeaWorld opens at 12 so we went to lunch, got settled into the hotel and off we went.
The kids rode the roller coasters and the carousel and we met up with our friends at one of the shows. It was day light so we couldn't see much of the decorations but by the time night fell the kids were exhausted. We opted to leave around 6ish and head for dinner. Which proved to be a wise choice.
They had ducks that the kids enjoyed feeding. There were several varieties and they would eat it right our of your hands. It was pretty funny to watch the kids reactions.
This duck below was particularly curious. And it was a tad aggressive about the food but too funny.

I think this is one of my favorite pictures. Can you tell Briggs needs to use the potty :)

| Abby had no problem interacting with the characters. Briggs and nems were a different story. |

Briggs would only go near if Abby was in between he and the characters. Emily cried every time she even saw someone dressed up.
Playing on the huge rope playground.
Leaving for the night. The kids loved running up and down the archways.
We then headed to a BBQ place to our Thanksgiving meal. Seth and I are not huge BBQ eaters but it was one of the only places opened. Turns out it was DELIOUS! We ate outside near the fire and stuffed our bellies.
The kids loved eating with their hands and being close to the fire. We then headed to the hotel for some much needed rest!
