Color Me Rad, that's us. Nothing but Rad Awesomeness going on. The weekend before Thanksgiving the girls and I did the Color in Motion 5k in Dallas. It was SO. MUCH. FUN! I do have to say, the night before one of our crew became sick and couldn't come. We missed you Steph! We got up early, ate some Chick Fil A and headed to the run. It was cold. I think it was 40 degrees. It eventually warmed up though. But the wait for the start was a little numbing, not to mention the totally cheese ball DJ, who was mind numbing.
We had some good chit chat and laughs, and I learned that one of the songs I like to work out to is actually really dirty. I live in a bubble sometimes. But when I really listened to the words in context, dang its dirty. Thanks for pointing that out Mandy. Now I am down a work out song. But I digress. We took some pics and got ready to get our color on.

Being big goofs.
Then we were off. We weren't sure what to expect exactly, and it was a little different than I thought, but it was still fun. There were over 3000 people running and some couldn't wait til the race started, they already had color all over them. It was a good time. I love doing things like this. Being active and fun especially with awesome friends is fantastic. Here are some of the post race pics.
I definitely had color in places I didn't want to have color, but what can you expect... I can tell you this, it doesn't taste nice and I cannot hear as well out of one of my ears. We topped off the day with some Sonic drinks and we headed home. Cant wait to do something like this again with these gals.
