Back To School

Summer came to a close in Utah and soon thereafter school started. Abigail went to meet the teacher night with so much excitement. She wanted to show me everything! This little girl is in 1st grade! I cannot believe it.  She is growing up so fast and is turning into a little lady. These pictures are from the 1st day of school. She was up and ready to go and so excited to be wearing her unicorn shirt. 

 Two weeks after Abby Brigham began his second year of preschool. He is in the 3 year old class and after the 1st day he turned 4! That's another post. So he is the oldest in the class. But just as abby was he was so excited to go meet his teachers and because his class room this year is upstairs. So far he has been pretty good. There have been a few tears a drop off but overall these to kids are off to another good year.

We ended our Journey in Utah with one last Hike. Thankfully Seth was able to stay a day before we headed back and we decided to spend that day with nature. He and I took all the kids save Cortland. It was a little longer and harder than we anticipated but the kids really were troopers. Total over all we hiked 4.5 Miles with over 1000 feet in elevation change. It was awesome and exhausting. Seth was a stud and carried Nems the whole way.

There were a ton of people there when we finally reached the falls it was kid of surprising. The water was so refreshing because it was really hot out. The kids liked putting their feet in and splashing their faces, as did I! I was really impressed because there were several really pregnant gals who made there way there. Impressive. It was really pretty.

A Family Gathering

 One of the last nights there we all gathered at the park for some last minute visiting. Due to Emily inability to sit, I didn't really get to visit but we had a good time and the kids were exhausted and dirty when we got home. There are so many fun a pretty parks in Utah, it puts Texas to shame really.  Its always fun when you get the whole clan together.

I know my mom is gonna kill me for posting all of these pictures but how can I not, they are all so cute! The last few days of our trip my Mom and her Husband Ron came to stay as well. Its been about a year and a half since she has seen my kids and they have changed so much.  The kids loved being around her and Ron. They wanted them to play or feed them (hence the Popsicles). We spent a lot of time just hanging out in the back yard enjoying one anothers company. Here is one such night. I am not sure how Ron managed to escape all my pictures.
