SEVEN!

9/11/2016 this little goober tuned 7! Its amazing how quickly time fly's and how swiftly these babies grow up into little cute humans. Hyrum and I went to Brighams school to have lunch with he and his buddies. He requested sonic and soda. Even though its  short time, its the only time parents can eat lunch with their kids at this school, so it does make it special.

I don't know what it is but he has been in a goofy face phase for awhile now...

On the weekend we had his actual party. It was baseball theme given his current obsession.  This was the first birthday where it was more of a friend party. Sometimes we have had one or two friends but he is at the age that all he wants to do is play with his friends. So friends and family gathered and we played water balloon baseball. It was a HIT. No pun intended. They loved it and thought it was awesome if the balloon exploded on impact.

His baseball cake and cupcakes.

Before everyone arrived there was some crazy trampoline jumping happening.

Some of his best buddies!

The cousins and girls :)

having just hit the balloon running to 1st.

Hyrum on the sidelines with bubbles.

Time for the cake!!

This kid got lots of cool presents like Lego sets, baseball gear, gift cards and much more. He was spoiled rotten.

Hyrum

Learning to sit up and I come upon him in his crib like this :)

I cant keep up! Hyrum is growing too fast!  He already looks so much older than all of these pictures but I had to share just a few because he is so gosh darn cute.

Even though we have already passed the year mark here are his 9 month stats:
Weight 20.10 lbs. - 67%
Height 29 inches - 77%
Head Circumference 46cm - 78%

Just practicing some head shots for GQ

He pretty much learned to climb up the stairs before he could crawl. Not the most ideal for this momma.

We often go on bike rides and he gets snuggled like this the whole time by Emily.

Just trying to play with Mags after church one day.

This was his last bath in the tub sink. As you can see he was anxious to be out of it. But he was super cute while it lasted. I will miss the days of sink baths.

2016 First day of school!

1st Grade

I am way behind on posting but better late than never right? These kids are getting so big with Abigail in 4th grade and Brigham in 1st. They were so excited to go back to see their friends and discover what this year had in store for them. We are already almost halfway through the year and its crazy! Briggs has played a season of baseball, Abby has joined choir and they are becoming such great little people!

Utah Part 2

This is my Uncle Teddy, as a kid we would always do this with him. WE decided to resurrect this old tradition and I'm so glad we did. It was so funny. As usual, we had a great visit with Uncle Ted and Aunt Kaylea.

While in Utah we definitely have to spend some time hiking. It was a bit tiring having Hyrum on my back but it was a good time nonetheless. This battle creek hike is perfect for the kids and this out of shape momma.

My crew and I

Its so gorgeous in UTAH!!!

Uncle Randy is always a hit with is cookie making skills and 4 wheeler rides. He took all the kids for a little ride and as usual they loved it.

Unfortunately the dry Utah weather has its downsides. Poor Hyrums lips were bloody most of the time. Mine were pretty terrible as well.

The fire station is always a fun stop too. Uncle Randy is so kind to always host a tour. We rode in the fire truck, sprayed the hose and got to see all that he does for work.

Ice cream for less than 50cents a cone and 7 kids, sign us up! What a treat.

Dollar store day was a hot as well.

My Aunt Karen and Grandma came to visit while we were there as well. Aunt Karen had never met Hyrum and Grandma cant get enough of course.

More, more and more cousins!!!

Cortland loved climbing into the play pen and paying with Hyrum

We visited Scheels for the first time which is pretty rad. They have a giant Ferris wheel inside and we had a grand time walking around and riding the beast.

A final goodbye...Until Next time Bells!
