Hyrum is ONE!!!

Back blogging big time!!! October 13, 2016 Hyrum turned one. Each year as each child has passed off another birthday I am utterly distraught with where the time has gone. But knowing that your baby, MY BABY, my LAST baby is one year old was sooooooo sad.... and happy of course. Its so sad to say goodbye to baby phases and hello to toddlerdom. But it is so fun to watch him grow and progress and become this hearty little man. We love this kid so much. It feels like our family revolves around him most of the time. All the kids adore him and I can say the same for Seth and I.

Some sad days for this one year old and his breathing

We are so happy to have Hyrum as a part of our family, he definitely completed our family. He is a joy and a wonder to be around. He knows what he wants and goes for it and screams bloody murder if he cant have it. He loves to swing and play but also loves to give hugs and kisses. He is my handsome little prince and I love him so.

He loves to go on bike rides.

For his birthday I made him his favorites: pancakes, eggs and grapes. He LOOOOOOOVED it.

Being one is entirely exhausting when you are this cute and your mom cant help but take a million pictures.

Happy Birthday little Man

We had a little gathering to celebrate the occasion and he looked rather dapper that's for sure. He didn't quite know what to think of the cake but after awhile  he figured it out.

Looking slick in some of his new jammies.

Mischief and Mayhem

Self explanatory (these have since moved)

Its amazing how easily one forgets how much trouble  a little mobile child can get into. Once he started crawling all bets were off. He is into anything and everything he can get his little hands on. He loves the kitchen cabinets, trying to get into all closed things, dog food, you name it  he wants it. But dang, he sure is cute while doing it. I know too soon this phase of my life will be over and I am not prepared to confront that just yet. So while he makes gigantic messes I will do my best to enjoy his innocence.

Running around in the walker that he no longer uses :(

Running away from a crime scene

Discovering pudding for the 1st time.

There is no more fun than a bucket on your head.

Of course, like Briggs, he has breathing problems. WE spend a lot of time with our friend the nebulizer

His favorite hang out.

In a rare moment he sleeps to rebuild his energy for more mayhem.

Then there are moments like these that make my heart melt.

We cant ignore the older siblings for sure. Mustache ask you a question?

He discovered that he can use these stools as a make shift walker

He then learned this new trick of standing by him self. He was very proud of this feat.

My constant companion always on my heels...

Or on my back...

Or in my face... But I don't mind cause look at that mug!

At the park with the ladies.

Just some little giggle time.

The Houston Astros 2016

Hyrum testing the baseball to make sure its OK for playing.

Yet another baseball season was upon us. This season we decided to go with a little bit more organized and competitive league. We are 100% happy  that we switched leagues. Brigham progressed so much this year with a great coach and lots of help from mom and dad at home. It was so fun to go to his games. For the first time it seemed like we were actually watching a real game. I was a very proud momma for sure. I hope he wants to continue playing as he ages because I love watching and cheering him on.

Looking pretty slick at the beginning of the season.

Practicing out back.

Emily practicing for how she will be a teenager watching games...

Brigham was very consistent this season with batting. He hit the ball almost every time he was at bat. He worked hard at trying to run the bases and putting more power into his swing.

During several games he played catcher and it was so cute I mean manly.

The team

Hyrum was one of his biggest fans.

Every game the coach would give a game ball to a player. He got the ball late in the season but it did come. He was beyond excited, he had been waiting all season to get that ball. This particular game he did really well and even caught a pop fly getting a kid out.

SEVEN!

9/11/2016 this little goober tuned 7! Its amazing how quickly time fly's and how swiftly these babies grow up into little cute humans. Hyrum and I went to Brighams school to have lunch with he and his buddies. He requested sonic and soda. Even though its  short time, its the only time parents can eat lunch with their kids at this school, so it does make it special.

I don't know what it is but he has been in a goofy face phase for awhile now...

On the weekend we had his actual party. It was baseball theme given his current obsession.  This was the first birthday where it was more of a friend party. Sometimes we have had one or two friends but he is at the age that all he wants to do is play with his friends. So friends and family gathered and we played water balloon baseball. It was a HIT. No pun intended. They loved it and thought it was awesome if the balloon exploded on impact.

His baseball cake and cupcakes.

Before everyone arrived there was some crazy trampoline jumping happening.

Some of his best buddies!

The cousins and girls :)

having just hit the balloon running to 1st.

Hyrum on the sidelines with bubbles.

Time for the cake!!

This kid got lots of cool presents like Lego sets, baseball gear, gift cards and much more. He was spoiled rotten.
