Abby had her first EVER soccer game this past Saturday. Unfortunately Seth had school and I was on my death bed so I feel bad there wasn't more support there. On the bright side, Grandma and Grandpa came so at least they were able to give Abby some cheering on. It was interesting to say the least.
It was hot and the kids were a little taken aback since there were so many people with so many games going one. One time during the game Abby ran off the field refusing to go back because there was grass on her socks. Goof. Another time, again during the game she ran off the field straight to me telling me to feel how hard her heart was beating. Ahhhh love kids. At least she wasn't the only one. One little girl ran off exclaiming that "this game is scary." By the time the 4th quarter rolled around Abby was done. She refused to go back in and was a little stinker. I didn't have the energy to make her do it either. So hopefully the next time she will stay on the field and sit on the bench. Here's hoping.
