Dear Father Time, I would appreciate it if you would stop passing so quickly. My kids are growing too fast and I am afraid I wont get enough time with them.
Thanks- Lacey
My Little baby Abby celebrated her Fifth Birthday on May 6th. I really cannot believe this day has come and gone already. Wasn't it just yesterday we were in the hospital hoping and praying that she would survive? It seems that way to me at least.
Yet here we are. Five! Yikes!!!! So many milestones so little time. She graduates Preschool this month and is already registered for kindergarten. My baby is going to school full time come August. She has grown so much this past year both physically and mentally, I really am a proud mama.
She is currently 42lbs and in the 66%. She has been at that weight for awhile. She is 44 1/2 inches and in the 86%, she is tall. I have no doubt in a few short years she will be taller than me.
Abigail is so full of life, almost too much. She is a machine. She loves to run and play. She played soccer this past year and keeps asking when she gets to play again. She knows and can write all of her letters and their sounds. She can write her whole first and last name. She also know my phone number, we are working on knowing her address and we are getting there. In my recent parent teacher conference at preschool her teacher was amazed at how much progress she has made this year. Its true, at the beginning of the year she only knew a few letters.... She can count to 29 and then starts counting by tens to 100. That was pretty recent because the whole year she would only count to 13 then one day it was 29.
She loves science day at school and asks me every school day if its time for science day. She knows what money (at least the change) is worth as well as her days of the week and her months of the year. Along with a number of songs. She loves to swim, dance, sing, play family, play with her Leapster and play with friends. Most especially she loves her Family. She loves Briggy and Emily and to make cookies with dad. Abby loves spending time with all the family we have around here, especially Nana, Papa and Grandpa and Grandma.
Abigail is loving and kind. She is a great big sister and she is so excitable. I'm not saying she is perfect, but she is such a little beauty in our lives. We love you Abigail!
For her party we had the Family as well as a few friends come. We played in the backyard, ate yummy food and of course had Cake and ice cream. I do have tigger pictures which will come in another post.
Playing in the pool
So excited, when she saw this pool she about died. Thanks Grandma Cheri.

Abigail was so excited to open her presents. She got a lot of great things. What impressed me most was how willing she was to let all the kids help her open her presents. She had a good sharing day.
Post swim hair
She loved her princess cake
She got this doll house from Aunt Christy and Family. The desk to the left is From Seth and I
Ready to blow our the candles. That cake was in danger.
A few things... 1) we are old! look how old our babies are! 2) she is sooo tall! I can't believe those long legs. 3) why do I always have to be the annoying nag that wants the tigger picture in every birthday post???? I know, I should just go to an old link. I am so demanding.
