The Whitworth family has grown exponentially this year. We have had many additions to the family and here is the newest one. This is Hannah, daughter to my brother and sister in law Dan and Lindsay. We were able to see her on her second day of life. She was born in the wee hours of the morning on July 25th and made quite the entrance with a very quick birth. She is a little doll and looks just like her mom. Its hard to imagine that we will have another one of these precious baby's soon. Welcome Hannah!

Back Track
The Two weeks prior to our Utah trip were spent at swim lessons. Abigail was in level one and I took a mommy and me class with Brigham. Because I was in the lessons this year with Briggs there wasn't much opportunity to take pictures. The last day of lessons is "fun day" and I was able to snag some then. Abby really excelled this year and has turned into a little fish. She passed her class with flying colors and can actually swim pretty well for a four year old. Briggs loved it too. He is a water baby deluxe. He has no problem going under water or jumping off things. Yesterday we were at a friends house swimming and he was jumping off the diving board all by himself. Such the little man. Abby's greatest accomplishment, at least to her, is she can now go down the big slide. You cannot go down it unless you can swim from the bottom of it to the side or out of the pool. Which she now can and it is the greatest thing ever.

Utah- Days 6 and 7
Our trip had to come to an end eventually. By day 6 we were all pooped. Seriously I don't have any pictures from that day because we laid around and did nothing. My mom did take the kids over to play at aunt Kelly's, thankfully. After the kids went to bed Cass, Code and I went and saw a late night dollar movie. Note to self: never go to a dollar movie near BYU late on a Saturday night. I have never seen a theatre so packed, with people looking for 15 cents.
Our last day was Sunday, we spent most of the day getting ready to leave. My brother in law Randy made some pancakes for breakfast as you can see on Briggs face. Some other family members dropped by to say their farewells. It was a great and exhausting trip. I don't know how or when we will be able to make it back but hopefully its soon :)
This is a snippet of Briggs and Jentz, they pretty much went the rounds the whole time we were there.

Utah- Day 5
On Friday we were able to meet up again with my long lost sister Megan and her kids. We hit the park near Codee's house. Again, another beautiful park. Do they even have ugly ones in Utah? The kids played well and of course stopped every other second for a snack (well at least mine did.) It was good times although it was hotter than we expected so weren't as prepared. But over all again we had another visit and then we went back to Codee's house for more fun.

Then Later that night we had another massive family gathering. We had a Mexican dinner night at my uncle teddy's new house. The kids just loved running around in the open space. He has a great place for big families. The weather was great and we all ate outside looking at their wonderful view. Good Times.

Really my kids first at the cookies...weird.

My cousin Lynsey is an awesome drummer so she has all sorts of fun things that make noise here is a video of the impromptu drum line.

Utah- day 4
Last year we had some awesome neighbors and friends, then they left us for Utah :( Abby still asks at least once a week if she can play with Molly. Liz is like a sister to me, we hit it off from the start. Oh how I miss her too. Of course Briggs and her son Calvin are about the same age as well but, they don't really care cause they are boys and too young. The past few times I have been in Utah we haven't been able to see each other due to sick kids, bad weather or bad circumstances. So finally we met up here in this beautiful park (I cannot remember where.) It was very picturesque. There were mountains, the weather was great, lots of trees, and of course horses running through the river. I couldn't have asked for a better visit. Despite that we had to end it because it started to rain...it was so good to see old friends. Between seeing family and two of my best friends it was a great trip!
My cousin Tiffany
Later that night we had family over to Codee's and had some yummy dinner. We talked, played games and the kids watched a movie.

Utah-Day 3
By our third day in Utah my mom, Grandma and Aunt Karen had driven up from California. Thus, fun with grandma's began. Their first day there we gathered up the kids and headed to the pool. Especially since it was supposed to be the hottest day we were there, we wanted to make sure we were out enjoying it. The kids had a blast swimming and playing. Abigail and Jay were like little fishes. Briggs was dunking himself under the water at every opportunity and little Jensen loved it but didn't want to leave mine or Cassidee's side.
