Budget Bunk Beds

With recent changes in Seth's employment we have had to cut back financially. So whats the solution? Budget bunk beds of course. The kids love it. They call it their tree house. Then when Emily comes she will sleep on top! It saves a ton of money and space!

Totally just kidding above (not about the job part just the idea).... but the kids do love to play on this changing table and request to take their naps here on occasion. Even though I won't let them. Its so funny what kids think of to do. They must be really bored....

Founders Plaza

For Family Home Evening this week we went to Founders Plaza to watch the Airplanes. Good idea Seth! The kids loved it, we stopped and got some grilled cheese sandwiches and the kids were able to watch the planes come and go. Its a nice place for the kids to have some free fun. Its always good to have some quality family time. They have some statues of of some kids trying to fly which are fun to see. However Abby asked me about the girl statue "mom is she dead?" I had a little explaining to do there. Its lovely when its 80 degrees in November and you can do something like this, even though it was past the kids bed times it was worth it the look on their faces!

The Last Game of the Season

The Soccer season has come to an end. Abby keeps asking when it is time to go to soccer, she hasn't grasped the concept of "seasons over." But, she will figure it out eventually. I am really proud of her. Overall she probably was the most improved. Going from complete refusal to playing to being excited to be on the field. She even scored a goal the last game! Seth, Brigham and I were there along with Papa and Grandma. It was a good end to the season. She even got a trophy which she is very happy about. She has been carrying it around with her. Unfortunately my camera died and I didn't get any pics of the handing out of the trophies but overall Good times!

30 Weeks

Here I am 30 weeks! How has the time passed so quickly? With the holidays swiftly approaching I know our little girl will be here before we know it. This 30 week mark is always a stressful one for me. As you know Abigail was born at 30 weeks. Thus when I was pregnant with Brigham I was constantly worried. Thankfully he came at term. Then we have this little girl, where I was even more concerned. Mainly because she is a girl. My doctor reassured me that it wasn't going to happen again just because she is a girl, and no matter what the chances were very slim. However, I still had my doubts. But here I am! My visit this week was good. I am measuring right on schedule and she is a very active little thing.

I have had a very stressful week, not because of my baby worries, but we have a lot going on in our lives right now, which in turn created baby worries. Unfortunately the day after my appointment I found myself in Labor and delivery at 10pm at night, on recommendation from the Nurse on call due to some bleeding. Thankfully all was well, they monitored me for several hours and did a very in depth sonogram and Emily is doing great. My placenta is still low and thus the extra concern about the bleeding. But I did get to see Emily extensively. She is so big! She is laying laterally in my tummy and in Frank position, meaning she is like a taco her head is by her feet. After good results I was discharged at 230AM. So they are going to monitor me a little more carefully now. But all is well!
