Cowboys Stadium: Part 2

These are the remainder of the pictures I took at the Cowboys Stadium. Again we had a great time. Afterwards we headed to my favorite resturaunt, Olive Garden and then headed home. About ten seconds of being in the car Briggs and Emily were asleep. It was a long fun day and we all went home in need of some rest.

Cowboys Stadium: Part 1

All set in her Cowboy onsie
Another adventure we had while my Mom and Ron were in town, was our trip to Cowboys stadium. We went on a "self guided" tour and got to really experience the enormity of it. Its a beautiful place, and its hard to imagine its scale with out seeing it in person. It was a lot better than I anticipated, except for a few high school tours that were a pain, but we had a great time. I think we all loved it and thought it was worth the money. Again it was great to do something like this with the family. I took so many pictures I had to do two post. Check back because there are a few funny ones of Seth and I to come.

I took this video of Briggs on the field, apparently Illegally. After I was done a man came and told me there are no videos allowed. Not sure why but, whatever.

Picnic and Planes

While my Mom and Ron were in town we took them to DFW airport to watch the planes and have a picnic. We picked up some burgers from our favorite place, Johnny B's, and enjoyed them while the planes took off. It was a beautiful day and it was great to spend time out doors with the family. The kids loved it! They loved sitting with Grandma and Grandpa Ron and pointing out planes, flowers, bugs you name it. It was pretty windy and Emily struggled to have fun, but overall it was a good day.

March of Dimes 2012

This year I participated in my 3rd March of Dimes walk. My sister Cassidee normally walks with me, since she now lives in Utah, I made other plans. Some gals I used to be in the singles ward with walked with me, along with a few extended friends. We all have had preemie babies and it was a good way to reconnect (after a LONG time), exercise and  raise money for a good cause. We were also on a Team with my friend Crysta from our previous ward, but she ran it, so we only got to be with her before the walk. Again it was sad to see all the many reasons why people were walking on T shirts. It was a good reminder of how thankful I am that Abigail made it through such a hard first few months; that she is so big and healthy now; and how thankful I am for the technology and advancement in medicine that made it possible for her to survive. Here's to another great year.... THANK YOU to EVERYONE who donated to this cause again this year. It really does mean a lot.
