Dallas World Aquarium

In all my years living in Texas I have never been to the Dallas Aquarium. So when the chance to go arose, it was a no brainer. We went with all the cousins. It was mayhem and chaos at times but we made it through with only a few minor incidents. The kids loved it. Heck, I loved it. I thought it was fantastic. We went though a bit fast for my liking but when you have a billion little kids just trying to see whats next before they have even seen whats in front of them, that's what happens. It was a lot of crazy fun.

Pure Happiness

They had some really cool monkeys all through out this place

Projects

Since we decided not to sell our house, we decided to start making some changes. And for me, the biggest change that can be made with the littlest expense is painting. So while Seth was out of town, I decided I would repaint the house, well a good portion of it anyway. He came back while I was midway through but I finished shortly after his return.

Our entire house was an off white. I was sick of it. After much deliberation and some advice, I decided to go with gray. After a thousand different gray samples I finally chose a shade and dove in head first. I started with the entryway, then the pantry. I moved on then to the hallways and then finally the main living area. It still needs touched up but its pretty much done. I still want to do my laundry room though. I love it.

Popcorn Popping

My kids are always singing. Its mostly church songs or VBS songs, but they are always putting on little shows and singing at the top of their lungs. Its very cute because now Emily has begun to join in. She especially loves popcorn popping.

Little Climber

Despite Emily's completely innocent face and demeanor and despite the fact she is rather petite... she is totally sneaky and mischievous. She climbs on everything, she runs without looking back, she puts everything in her mouth and tries to do it all while your not looking. Of course she still does it a lot while you are. This girl may be the nail in my coffin. But dang she is cute. This day I came to find her trying to climb in and up the doll house.

Friends

My friend was in a tight spot and needed a sitter for her daughter. So, she came and hung out with us for several days. It worked out because she and Abby are pretty good pals and they enjoyed playing togther. We went to the museum, and played at grandmas, we watched movies and danced, we went to the store and some doctor vists, we also did VBS and much more. Here are some of the adventures from our days togther.

We froze dinosaurs in ice and had a race to see who could get theirs out first. Mahlina won.

We enjoyed lots of popcicles on hot days outside...and played with cousins...

We played with chalk in the driveway and practiced riding bikes...

Emily Ran away

We played in the sprinklers a lot...

Look at that face!

Love. This. Kid.

And there was lots, and lots, and lots, and lots of singing and shows to be preformed...as evidenced below...
