Dang Dog.

I am not a fan of having pets in/on beds or furniture. To be more specific, I think its pretty nasty . I know I used to do it with my pets growing up but now as a mom...gag. For some reason Maggie has decided to like Brigham's bed.  Despite the fact its a loft bed and a pain to get into. When I cannot find her she has usually made her way there. The other night I went to check on Briggs before I went to bed. This is what I found...I had no idea she was in there.  Despite the gag factor, I thought it was really cute and couldn't resist snagging a picture before I took her out. Little moments...

Baby Beluga

Abby and her pal Ashley. They have known each other since 3year old preschool

Abigail had her Baby Beluga 1st Grade program this month. She was so excited, mainly because she got to wear her Pajamas, but about the program too. She has come a long way since the days of darting of the stage and throwing tantrums in the halls. It makes me a proud mama. unfortunately Briggs and Emily were tired and grouchy and this program was during bed time, thus Seth stayed home with them and I got to go watch her sing and dance :)

Getting ready to head back

Good Job Abby!
Here is a few minutes of the program. She did awesome. She is in the top row in the purple.

So proud

Stock Show-2014

Last weekend the kids went to the stock show with their Grandma Cheri and Aunt Christy. They had a blast, as you can see from all the pictures. They were able to ride horses, hold goats, eat lots of bad things, ride a carousel and spend time together. Brigham says the best part was eating cotton candy and riding the horse. We seriously need to move to the country!

These little goats remind me of my youth. We had these types of goats growing up and I loved those stinky little guys. I am glad the kids get to at least experience them in some form.

TBT- My baptism

Anyone know who the gal on the far left is, or the man in the wheel chair? Me either...

I have no memory whatsoever of my baptism when I was 8 years old. All I had was a picture of Jesus that said I was baptized. I have never seen any pictures from my baptism either.

A few weeks ago I received a package from my Aunt Karen with these pictures she had found inside. Imagine my surprise! I didn't know they existed. It made me a little teary eyed to be honest.

It was such a nice surprise and it was so fun to see everyone back in the day. I am pretty sure this is 1991. I had a good stroll through memory lane...

My mom and I. Rocking Dress! I think this is my Favorite pic!

My dad and I. I would gather that my face is because there are not one, but two bows in my hair. I bet my mom had to wrestle me to get those in.

The picture I am holding is the one I was talking about. That's my mom and a family friend carol.

I must be wearing tights too. I hated wearing Tights and Bows. I bet that's why im so joyful.

Let it Snow!

Unlike our last winter storm experience which kept us iced in for days...we actually got SNOW this time! It was soft, fluffy and fun to play in. The kids were in frozen heaven. They didn't last an extremely long time, but long enough to enjoy hot chocolate after. Emily and Briggs loved making their foot prints and watching the dog act like a crazy loon. Abby was in school for most of the snow fall but she got to play some later.

Brrr its chilly

Emily just kept wanting to walk up and down the sidewalks

8+1=9

While at dinner the other day Brigham randomly said "5 plus 2 equals 7!" I was shocked, I didn't know he knew that and of course gave him great praise. So he said it a few more times. We talked a little bit about math and Abby just said "that's so easy, I have known that for a long time" I explained that Briggs was younger and still learning. She asked him if he knew what 8+1 was. He didn't know.

Abby then says, "I learned it in the car the other day"

Seth and I were a little perplexed but, whatever.

That same night Seth was cleaning the car out....He called to me to come look at the car. "remember what Abby said at dinner?"

THIS IS WHAT WE FOUND BY HER SEAT....SHE DID LEARN IT IN THE CAR ALRIIGHT.......

LOOK SHE IS EVEN HAPPY SHE GOT IT RIGHT. Little butt.

A new addition....

Seth and the kids have been wanting a dog for some time now. I have been able to put them off for awhile. Seth really wanted a Beagle and has been, at random, searching. Occasionally we would stop by adoption days at Petsmart and let the kids get their fix of dog petting. However there was never really any dogs we liked, so it worked out.

Sometimes just for something to do on Saturdays we would go looking. We found one online, that looked like it might be worth seeing so we headed that way...with no expectation that we would like it.

We got there and the dog was twice the size of what we thought, a little disappointed we looked at a few others. It was not for us. As we were looking this little girl was being put into a cage straight off the transport from Louisiana, having been saved from a kill shelter. We took her for a walk and, well she was pretty much exactly what Seth had been look for in size and overall look. She is only about 15lbs and maybe 15 inches high. She was sweet, and we decided to give her a shot.

Since she came straight off the transport the rescue group hadn't done any testing and what not, so we had her for a few days and then dropped her off again for her to be properly vetted.

She got shots, was neutered and got an overall check up and we got her back the following week. So far she is a pretty good dog. She is very tolerant of the kids, super sweet, she loves to be petted and so on. She is about two years old and seems to have had someone who had her inside before, because she just wants to be inside on your lap. The kids adore her and her cage. I can keep Emily out of that dang cage.

Here she is... Meet Maggie.

Went looking for Emily and this is how I found her.

Maggie, is unsure

The kids wont leave her alone

See that face...help!

She loves being loved
This is the face she has when all three kids are trying to pet her.....SAVE ME!!!!
