Easter

The Easter Bunny came... The kids loved their baskets and movies and soccer balls. So much so they were up all night, ALL NIGHT,  trying to play and get to them. It was a bad night. Honestly they are lucky they were able to open them at all. But we tried to make the best of a bad night.
Emily loved her Sophia water bottle.

HE had been asking for Planes 2 for a few months. He was happy the Bunny got it.

After watching Conference all morning we headed to Seths Parents to have dinner with all the family. The cousins had an easter egg hunt and ate a lot of Junk. It was a good time.

The last dance

Ready to head to dance

Dance came to an end a week ago and I have to say I am relieved.  While it was perhaps one of the cutest  things I have seen it was also a battle. Emily liked the first few classes but after that she cried a lot. She wouldn't participate unless I was in the thick of it with her. She would always say she was ready and wanted to go but once we got there it was a different story.

Every child I have put into something when they were 3 years old. After each kid I have said I wont do it again because it is a battle most of the time. Yet here we are with child 3 and I did it again. I told Seth to remember when #4 hits 3 DO NOT let me sign them up for anything!

She is posing and acting so nicely because we were early and no one was there. Overall it was a good learning experience for her. But I think I will wait til she is 4 or older to sign her up for anything else.

Brigham

The bounce house at the party

I feel like I haven't posted much on Briggs lately . Maybe its because we are so busy all the time or he just wont sit still for pictures so I don't typically have many of him. But, he is getting so BIG! I cant believe it. He is already 5 and a half and wants desperately  to be older.

He loves to run, jump, play, be a ninja, do tricks on the trampoline, bug his sisters and anything disgusting. He is funny and has a great memory, he is excited for Kinder nest school year and loves to pretend he can speak Spanish.
Eating snacks (his buddy is the one to the left.)
I'm not one for taking my kids to Birthday parties that are not family. Mainly because there are so many its ridiculous and a lot of the time they are on Sundays. His Best buddy from school had a party he really wanted to go to. Since it was on a Saturday and I never take him I figured he could have a break.
He counted down every day until the party. We got the invite about 3 weeks in advance so you can understand how fun that was. He loved every second. He ran from adventure to adventure. He was in Heaven.

Getting ready to beat the PiƱata
Every Sunday my kids all look so cute dressed up but I don't take that many pictures because its annoying and it happens a lot. But when I climbed in the car to see Briggs had put on Seth's glasses and was sitting there like such a stud I couldn't resist.

Then there is this. I always find him sleeping funny. Here he  is in his sleeping as a frog picture.

We sure love this little guy.

Camping

Headed to the camp site

In a last minute decision at the end of spring break we decided to go camping. The forecast was good and we needed to get away. We were supposed to leave around 10 Thursday morning. However Seth got stuck at work and so we didn't leave til around 230. Thankfully the campsite was only an hour away so we weren't in that bad of shape.

We found our campsite and we started to unload. It is amazing all the things you need for 2 days!!! The kids were beyond excited. Collecting sticks, looking for bugs, walking Maggie and whatever else they could think to do.

We finally got the camp all set up. We had some dinner and the sun started to go down. By the time we went potty got all the beds ready and cleaned up for the night everyone was  pooped, myself included.

Getting ready for bed

All tucked in
Once the kids were all tucked in they were kind of giggly and it was hard for them to settle down. Emily crashed fast but about 9 Seth took Abby and Briggs out to look at the stars and they really enjoyed some dad time.

The next morning we woke up to rain! That was not in the forecast. We made breakfast and sat by the fire. The kids loved running around and getting wet. We hoped that it would clear up so we just played all morning. Briggs was on a mission to build a beaver dam and collect all the sticks he could find. By 12 the kids were soaked to the bone. We only had so many clothes. We roasted some hot dogs over the fire and had lunch. By 2 the kids were getting pretty miserable, cold and soggy. The rain had not stopped all day. Our camp site was a soggy mess. As Seth and I discussed what do to we decided the rest of the night was going to be miserable...so we caved. We packed up all that gear and headed home. Once we made it home we were so so so happy for that decision. Even though the trip was a bust, we definitely have some memories.

The rains came down and the floods came up...

Thankfully our site had this which save all our gear

Tramploine park

During spring break we went to the trampoline park with some friends. This was our first time. It was kinda like a mad house but the kids mostly loved it. Nems was really hesitant at first but once she got going she was all over the place. Briggs loved having other boys to play with and he mostly played dodge ball the whole time. Abby just did whatever and had a good time.

Emily loved the sponge put.
