Galveston Beach

This past weekend we headed down to Houston for a Family reunion/wedding anniversary party. We decided to go down a day early so we could spend some time as a family at the beach. The kids have never seen the ocean and despite the fact that its not the prettiest beach, we enjoyed ourselves.

We spent about 4 hours playing in the water and building sand castles. Brigham was scared to death of the ocean and clung for dear life to Seth and I if we took him to the water. He was afraid of Sting Rays.

We rented an umbrella for Emily's sake and despite the steep cost it was totally worth it. We had a great time. Next time we want to visit a beach where you can actually see whats in the water. :)
