Abby loves her Jump A Roo. She can go on and on. This video is a little bit older but I haven't been able to post it properly. She is such a little goof!

This is so funny because this is the first time she has had one of these and here she is just going to town! Or perhaps I am the only one who thinks its funny.

Teething and Runny Noses

Question: Do teething a runny noses ever end? It seems like it has lasted a lifetime already and she only has two teeth! They are sharp little buggers. The bottom front teeth finally broke through the gum, however her grumpiness still lingers because I am sure more are coming. Not to mention the runny nose that has been around for at least a month. Poor thing, I really feel bad for her. All the goop I suck out of her must be miserable, in turn making her so fussy. That in combination with the age of.... "If you put me down for one single second I will burst a lung screaming if you don’t pick me up" stage. I think I have spoiled the little tyke, well I can't help it when you are so cute and crying crocodile tears what’s a mom to do? Nonetheless, she does cheer up when dad comes home from work and of course when Aunt Codee and Jay come over, then she is an angel.

Side Note: I never thought I would be this way, but is so fun to dress Abby in her church clothes. She is too cute, as you can see Jay looks pretty handsome as well. The one of Abby sleeping is one Seth snuck in while she was napping. Too cute.

The Worst Valentines Day Ever

I know everyone will be so jealous of my Valentines Day adventure but, alas not everyone can be as lucky as I. The day began as normal, Seth off to work and me taking care of Abby but as the day unfolded things just got worse and worse. Through out the course of the day Abby had 2 rather nasty bodily function issues that I had to deal with not to mention being grumpy form teething and being sick. But then around 2 I started to feel really nauseas. So when Seth came home I did not feel like doing a thing, except lay on the couch. Then about 6pm the nausea increased and I really felt horrible. I won’t go into details. But then at about 8:30 the top blew off, so to speak, and it was literally a scene from Fear Factor or maybe a better description would be Dirty Jobs except without bio-hazard suits. It was awful; I was so weak and short of breath and completely dehydrated. I seriously contemplated calling 911 at one point. I am feeling better though once my system was cleaned out. Although I still haven’t eaten anything since yesterday. Poor Seth, cleaned the whole mess up, plus dealt with our screaming Abby. Thank goodness for him! At least one good thing came of it. This is the least I have weighed in a few years! I have some bad Valentines Day but this one takes the cake.

Cousins

Abby loves Jamison. He can pretty much do anything and she will think its hilarious. She especially loves to play with his hair. Which of course means to give it a nice coating of drool which Jay thinks is painful. You can see how much she likes his hair by the picture. He is so sweet with her; she is going to miss him when he moves to Utah. The new thing she loves is when Jay drags her around on a blanket and of course Jay loves it too!

Hmm

Under pressure and duress I decided to finally start our own Family blog. I am worn out on myspace and facebook and I think a new venue for info is in order. Thus, here is a very basic blog since I dont really know what I am doing yet. As you can see the page is mostly influenced by myself (Lacey) with little input from Seth. Or shall I say no input. But as a tribute I added a wee bit of Texas Pride. He would rather not be bothered by this sort of thing. But what can I say...I like it.
