Recently the kids have been in a horse phase. They constantly play horses, and fight over the horses we have, the neighing is never ending and its like a farm around here. Briggs had a soccer game on Saturday and near by there was a horse competition going on. After the little man played (the ENTIRE game) we decided to stop and see what was going on.
It was a dream come true for them. They were so excited to see the horses. There were two teenage girls competing and they made friends with the kids. They were waiting on their results so they let the kids pet and look at the horses. They even offered to give the kids a ride if we waited around long enough...so of course we did! Abby was over the moon about it. She loved it! Briggs was hesitant, he thought the horse would buck him off like Spirit, but once he was on he didn't want to get off. Its made their life I think.
Ever since this day Abby has been wearing her cowgirl boots and hat and has been saying she is a cowgirl!
Brigham had his first official soccer game last Saturday, unfortunately Seth was out of town for it, so I took a lot of Pictures. It was an exciting day. He was a little nervous at first. He didn't want to play and I had to be on the field with him a few times. However in the 4th quarter he accidentally scored in the wrong goal. I guess he liked all the cheering because from then on he was all over it. For just turning three he has really good ball control and several people have commented on that fact. Proud mamma here. The game was really cute! He has another game tomorrow and several more after that. Here's to a good season!
Look at him Run, too cute. His team is the yellow and green and he is number 4
Can you tell he is excited?
Look how often he is tugging his shorts. They were large and they were a youth extra small!
Sunday is the one day we "mostly" have it together. Especially since church doesn't start til 1:30pm. This particular day the kids were looking so cute I had to do a mini photo session before we headed out the door. I love my family!

This is so classic! I love this. These kind of pictures are the best because this is how it usually is.
Briggs had an accident at church. Seth drove him home and this is what he found when he went to get him out of the car.
Happy Birthday Brigham. Three years have past since this little dude was brought into this world. If you want to see some pictures of that great day click HERE
The Weekend before his birthday we celebrated with a pancake breakfast. We wanted to do something a different so we did a pancake bar; and instead of a cake we stuck a candle in his pancakes and sang to him over those. It actually turned out really well and I anticipate doing more in the future.
We ate, played outside, opened presents and enjoyed the company. Brigham made out like a bandit as usual and was rather comical to watch as he opened presents. It was a good day.
Emily all dolled up for the party

Brigham at age three is something else. I think he finally hit the terrible twos about 3 months ago, and now is blazing a trail into the horrific threes! Good thing he is so cute.
