Sherman

While Codee was here we were able to drive up and see my Papa Ken and his wife Frankie. They live in OK but we met them halfway to have dinner in Sherman. It was nice to all be together again, except Cass who had to work. But we had some good food and laughs together. We are not able to get together much with everyones schedule and kids but when we do we always have an entertaining time. Outside the resturaunt

Going Bonkers

In Texas, once summer really hits, the outdoor activities cease to be. Thankfully they have some indoor play places where you can sit in a fully air conditioned room. I found a place called Going Bonkers and it was awesome, and decently priced too. Essentially it was like a big McDonald's play ground but in a huge warehouse with food, games and arcades. Most of the pics are a wee blurry because the kids were whizzing everywhere but, the lighting in there was not the best for picture taking either. Codee and Briggs, dont mind the finger :)

Codee's Visit

Codee and Jensen

My sister Codee came to town with her kids Jamison and Jensen. Thus I have been pretty occupied the last 10 days or so. We were really busy most of the time although we really didn't do much of anything. We spent time together, went to the splash park twice, went to the temple, went to Taste of Asia, hung out with family, had dinner in Sherman with my Papa Ken, talked a lot, played a lot, broke up cousin fights, went to going bonkers, visited old friends and wore ourselves out. It really made me mad at her that she now lives in Utah. However I don't think I will ever get her to move back here. Overall it was fun visiting with her again, who knows the next time we will get to be together. I took so many pictures while she was here I will have to do a few separate posts, here are just a few.

Not for the weak

*******Warning, if you get grossed out easily do not look at the following pictures******

Abby has a issue with sticking her hand in her pants. We are constantly on her about not doing it, why its gross and everything we can think of for her not to do it. She does it more when she is tired as a comfort thing, but its still gross (she just puts her and down there nothing else thankfully.) I am always making her wash her hands and she cannot figure out why. On occasions she does it when she has done #2 and it ends up on her hand and where ever else she decide to wipe it.

Apparently on this particular day she was trying to get it off her hands and her choice of cleaning method was the wall...thankfully I was at work for this one and Seth took care of it. However I have had my far share of "dry heave" inducing moments.

Buzz Cut

Briggs has been in dire need of a haircut. I have trimmed here and there, but overall it has ended up like Jim Carey in Dumb and Dumber. Poor buddy. I have been waiting for my sister to visit so she could teach me how. She came (more on her visit later) and it was time for his little wig to come off. I was a bit hesitant to do it. I needed to mentally prepare. But I am glad I went through with it. He is such a little man now. I initially attempted to do it. However I really did not understand what I was supposed to do. I can honestly say I have never seen a boy get a haircut. So when I got started I realized I was out of my league and Seth took over. He cut it just how they cut his hair, the method anyway,and did a really good job. Looks like he is the new hair stylist in the family. Briggsy did awesome, he didn't cry once and he actually seemed to enjoy it. All his darker hair is now blond and he is such a towhead now. Don't you think Briggs looks so grown up ?The mop wig (before)He did such a good job!How do you like my haircut?What a stud :)

The only time he fussed the whole time, it was over and he didn't want it to be.

Goof

Every morning we wake up, eat breakfast, and then Abby can watch a show. This particular morning while Abby was watching her show I was in my room doing something. When I came out to check on her this is how I found her perched in front of the TV...She is so funny sometimes.
