Well, the move is complete. It really is odd not being in our home anymore. So many things have happened there, after four years you have a lot of memories. Right now my access to the Internet is limited so I probably will not be posting all that often but, I shall try my best. Right now we are just floating until we figure out where life will takes us.
Abby is getting so big and it seems just within the last week she has changed so much. She will fold her arms for prayer, sign she wants a bottle, conduct music at church during a hymn and roar like a lion if you roar at her first. She is such a little pill and I love her dearly. I cannot believe how each and every day she changes so drastically. Sometimes I cannot keep up with all the changes. She is however, into the stage where she screams all the time. She screams especially loud if she is frustrated and by the end of the day mom has a gigantic headache. But at least she doesn't bite that much anymore :)

Parting is such sweet sorrrow.
Well, It didn't take nearly as long as I had anticipated to find a home for my Belle. Which actually was really rough because now she is with someone else. I dropped her off this morning and it was really difficult. Its quite embarrassing to have spent last night sobbing because of my dog but, what can I say I love her and I am attached. I have had her since she was a puppy, which is about 4 1/2 years now and even though she is a complete butt and pain I love her to pieces. I just hope she likes her new home. Apparently they have other dogs so maybe she will make fast friends and forget about us. Although just looking out the window and not seeing her big goofy face is painful. I am not sure I will ever be able to have a dog again after that. So this ones for you Belle, I love ya you big dope.

Belle
If you know me you know how much I love my pets. I hate to even have to put this on here but maybe the outcome will be good. So if you or anyone you know who is trustworthy wants my baby Belle, please let me know.
I am moving a need to find a good home for my dog Belle. She is about 4 years old, spayed, up to date on all shots, weighs between 45-50lbs, house trained and adorable. She is overall a really good dog. She does have a few issues with bad weather and fireworks but they are easily managed. I have a dog house, leash and collar as well as a big bag a food that she comes with. If anyone is interested please let me know and I can give you even more details. It breaks my heart to have to give her away so I need to make sure she will be well taken care of.

Some Pics from the trip
Well, here are some of the pictures that I promised. Some turned out really cute but there are just to many to share. Life will be hectic for the next little while. Our house did lease, and we have to be out by the first, but really the 29th since thats when all the utilities will be shut off due to the weekend and the holiday. So wish me luck, at this point I have no idea where we will be staying. But I know that in the end the Lord will help us through this time.

Home Again
Well, back in Texas and everything is green. I left, and apparently it rained a lot. So much so on the approach to DFW I thought I had gotten on the wrong plane and had flown into Houston:)
The flight went well. The first half hour was an all out war between Abby and I. At one point I thought she drew blood. However, she can only resist the death grip so long before tiring. So she eventually fell asleep and stayed that way until we landed. It was great! But what was the best about it was flying above the earth and seeing all that the Lord created and staring into the huge clouds as we flew past them. They were so bright that I almost couldn't look. It made me think "thats heaven". So as I was gazing between the bright clouds and the earth I also had in my arms one of the greatest gifts from Heaven. If you know Abby, you know it isn't often that I can hold her while she sleeps, or for that matter while she is awake. She is such a little blessing in my life. Watching her chest rise and fall and her eyes move under her eyelids was just beautiful. I felt like I had the world in my arms and couldn't help but kiss her every few minutes. I am just thankful she is a part of my life.
The trip went well, I saw lots of family and a few friends. We had a good time visiting and of course eating. Its time to crash diet while I am home! I had an In and Out burger and some Round Table Pizza (Maui Zaoi) I have no idea how to spell that. I did miss Chevy's and Carls Jr. but I think I will live. Abby got to see so many family members she had never met which was nice, as did I. I met some cousins who I hadn't seen since they were born. We got some sun, saw the temple, stayed up late, watched some movies (stardust) I highly recommend and visited some more. It was great to see my mom, gma, Codee, Randy, Jay and all my aunts, uncles and cousins.
I have some pictures I will post later, once I sort through them. So thats that for now.

Misc
Well, Abby and I are headed out of town for the next ten days so there probably will not be much posting from me. But, maybe so check back soon.
For the last 2 weeks our house has been on the market for sale or for lease. I personally thought it would take a really long time and I wouldn't have to make any major changes yet. But, I was wrong. We have a lease agreement pending right now, all we have to do is finalize it. They will be moving in on the first which is really crazy. All I can say is Crap!
Also crap because I am super stressed out about the flight tomorrow. So wish me luck with a screaming toddler who will have to be held the entire trip:(

I know I have mentioned before how much Abby loves Belle and I wanted to show you a typical morning at my house. After we go for our morning run, I let Belle stay inside for awhile to cool off. Being a furry dog, having gone for a run in this Texas heat, one has to have sympathy. Thus, the first thing she does is plop down on the tile to cool off. Then soon thereafter so does Abby.
Then as you can see Abby also loves to play with the leash and try to put it on Belle. For the most part she puts up with because I think, Belle is too tired to do otherwise. So you can see Abby plotting her next move.
Then Belle realizes that Abby needs some assistance with this whole thing and tries to accommodate as best as possible.
I just think it is so cute. The first thing Abby looks for in the morning is Belle. She tries to bark and has a huge look of surprise on her face as if she has never seen her before. While Belle puts up with a lot, often times changing where she lays several times due to Abby constantly trying to mount her like a horse. She does eventually get annoyed and I have to put her out.
Its the little things like this that make me smile.

Memories
Well My sister-in-law posted this on her blog and it looked like a fun idea. So leave a memory if you will, and if you do it I will leave one for you!
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments. EVERYBODY PLAY! I want to see what memories you have!!

Little Rascal!!!!
The other day while I was cooking dinner, I could hear Abby playing in the cupboards. So when I looked this is where I found her. Thankfully I have taken everything out of there that is dangerous but, there are still plugs, wires and such. It was so cute the first thing I did was run and get the camera.

Completing the Book of Mormon
Awhile ago, my sister-in-law Christy decided to put forth the challenge for the family to read the Book of Mormon in 30 days. Thus, I thought it was a good idea to help with life trials and to gain further inspiration and knowledge. So it is now complete and I am very grateful that I have the full knowledge of the Gospel. Although it was time consuming to read it so quickly, and hard to maintain that pace, it was really worth it. Every time I read the BOM I learn so many new things. I try to read it at least once a year and have successfully done so for the past 5 years. Depending on the situation of life I am in; new passages stand out and have new meaning. I am just grateful that I have Another Testament of Jesus Christ available to me. I have learned so much about Christ and His Atonement, the love Heavenly Father has for his Children, faith, hope, charity, and so much more. I know that Heavenly Father is a an unchanging Father and only wants what is best for us. Thus he gives us so much knowledge on how to better return to Him. I can only imagine the heartache he feels when people choose to not follow His plan. But, then that is what is so amazing about the gospel is that we have the freedom to choose. Agency is such a central part of our lives, if we but use it wisely the blessings of Heaven will be poured out upon us. I am greatful to know that Christ is there to lean upon in hard times and I really feel like the Footprints Poem; that I only see one set of footprints because he has been carrying me through these hard times of life.
I was able to also attend the Temple yesterday and I am greatful for the peace and spirit that I feel there. It is amazing to know the Lord has established places on earth where such sacred things take place. So, thanks again Christy for that challenge and to end, here are a few of my favorite scriptures...
Alma 37:37 Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God; and if ye do these things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day.
Omni 1:26 And now, my beloved brethren, I would that ye should come unto Christ, who is the Holy One of Israel, and partake of his salvation, and the power of his redemption. Yea, come unto him, and offer your whole souls as an offering unto him, and continue in fasting and praying, and endure to the end; and as the Lord liveth ye will be saved.
Moroni 7:26 And after that he came men also were saved by faith in his name; and by faith, they become the sons of God. And as surely as Christ liveth he spake these words unto our fathers, saying: Whatsoever thing ye shall ask the Father in my name, which is good, in faith believing that ye shall receive, behold, it shall be done unto you.
